Intricate Animated Gifs Aren't That Funny

So, an animated gif where things move around is real neato. Even more neato when the animated gif seems to flow into a tiled copy of itself. Yes, we can all use Photoshop, very clever. I just don't get it. Maybe one of you, valiant readers can explain it to me. I was at least hoping for a picture of someone's balls at the very least.
